SIX QUESTIONS for Brad Raimondo

HOMETOWN: Tenafly, NJ

FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR: This is tricky.  I recently visited the Ben & Jerry's Flavor Graveyard in Waterbury, VT and I was reminded that once upon a time there was a White Russian ice cream and it was glorious.  Since its untimely demise, I'm more of a Cherry Garcia man.

IF I WERE A SEA CREATURE I like to think I'd be an anemone or a starfish, because I admire their ability to relax.  In all likelihood, though, I think I'd be an octopus.  Multitasking seems to be my thing.  Eight legs would be nice.

FIRST DIRECTING GIG: When I was 17 I took over a vacant store in my hometown with a bunch of friends and turned it into a theater for two months.  I directed The House of Blue Leaves by John Guare.  I have a video of the production somewhere that I've never seen and that I'm terified to watch.  It was probably a total mess.  But we learned a lot.

MOST EMBARRASSING ONSTAGE MOMENT: I was in a production of Macbeth a few years back, playing a couple of roles, including Duncan.  For some reason the costume designer decided that Duncan should be wearing a loose-fitting one piece bodysuit with a deep v-neck front.  I looked almost excatly like General Zod in Superman II--except without any of the gravitas.

FAVORITE NYC SUMMER ACTIVITY (BESIDES FRINGENYC): I don't know if you've been to Sundaes & Cones on East 10th Street just off of Bowery, but you really should go.  Seriously.
