SIX QUESTIONS for Gavin Starr Kendall HOMETOWN: Overton, TX; population 2,350 FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR: Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. IF I WERE A SEA CREATURE I WOULD BE: Godzilla. FIRST ACTING GIG: First paying gig was TEXAS! the outdoor musical in Palo Duro Canyon. I was 21 playing a ranch hand singing and dancing the history of West Texas. It was basically the plot of Oklahoma. One night I fell off my horse into the brush, banged myself up pretty good but finished the show. MOST EMBARRASSING ONSTAGE MOMENT: I was doing a show with Manhattan Children's Theater and during a blackout scene change I knocked heads with one of the women in the cast and actually saw stars. Like in cartoons. FAVORITE NYC SUMMER ACTIVITY (BESIDES FRINGENYC): Riding the Coney Island Cyclone. |
